The following requirements are essential for setting up your GmbH/UG online:

Use of the BNotK (sovereign operator) video communication tool/notary app ([App Store](https://apps.apple.com/de/app/notar/id1624043830) or [Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/search?q=Notar&c=apps&gl=DE) for users – please download and register

Own laptop and smartphone required, as well as PIN for eID – can be requested again.

- For Germans: If you do not have a completely up-to-date ID card (issued after August 2, 2021): 
    - **Valid ID card**
    - **Valid passport**
    - **PIN for ID card/eID** – can be requested again ([www.pin-ruecksetzbrief-bestellen.de](https://www.pin-ruecksetzbrief-bestellen.de/))
